Is WalMart in Wake Forest ready for a low price battle? Hold on tight Wake Forest residents as the discount grocery store, ALDI is getting closer to reality. They have submitted plans and the estimated time to turn the signatures needed around at the Town Hall is about 2 weeks. Then the permitting process begins. That could take up to 2 months, maybe more. This, being the 3rd ALDI store in the general area (first in Wake Forest) they have a game plan to make this a smaller store featuring their best products.
As we prepare to watch the battle unfold one thing is certain, the Wake Forest residents will be the true winner here.
